Fault Scenario 1 — "Works in the morning, stops after lunch"
Real cause: Thermal partial failure of a traction controller IGBT module. As the IGBT heats up its RDS(on) rises above the overcurrent protection threshold. After rest, it cools and the truck runs again — until complete IGBT failure.
Repair: IGBT module replacement. Cost: €380–650. New dealer controller: €2,200–4,400.
Fault Scenario 2 — "All forklifts show Service simultaneously"
Real cause: A failed TVS diode on one truck's CAN bus short-circuits CAN_H or CAN_L. The entire CAN network floods with error frames. Isolate the faulty truck and replace one TVS diode (€0.50) to restore the entire fleet.
Repair: TVS diode replacement on TMS or traction controller board. Cost: €180–280.
Fault Scenario 3 — "Truck steers right but not left"
Real cause: Asymmetric H-bridge MOSFET degradation in the EPS controller — elevated RDS(on) in the left-steering leg. Frequently misdiagnosed as a mechanical steering column fault or tyre wear.
Repair: H-bridge MOSFET pair replacement. Cost: €280–480. New EPS controller: €1,800–2,800.
Fault Scenario 4 — "Forks lower by themselves or in steps"
Real cause (60% of cases): Proportional valve driver MOSFET partial failure on the hydraulic controller board. The valve remains slightly open — forks drift down even with the joystick in neutral.
Repair: Proportional driver MOSFET replacement + valve current verification (±2% of setpoint). Cost: €320–580. New hydraulic controller: €1,900–3,800.
Fault Scenario 5 — "Truck does not start after battery change"
Real cause: The internal 12V auxiliary supply on the controller board fails when the battery drops below 16V. The controller does not start regardless of battery state.

Fault Scenario 6 — "TMS display does not work after winter"
Real cause: Moisture condensation inside the TMS console during rapid temperature change damages the backlight LED driver IC (SN3350). The LCD panel is undamaged.
